Set against the timeless grandeur of Netherby Hall, this year’s car show offered more than just an assembly of rare and pristine machines — it was a gathering of stories, passion, and heritage. From classic lines shimmering in the midsummer sun to modern performance beasts tucked beside Georgian architecture, every corner of the event had its own character. I spent the day catching these moments. Sun flares on polished chrome, tyre marks on gravel, quiet nods of appreciation between owners and onlookers.
Photographing in the unforgiving summer light was a challenge, but one I welcomed. Harsh sun can easily flatten an image, but if done right, it becomes a tool to carve out contrast, bring depth to paintwork, and highlight each car’s unique silhouette. This was my aim for this event. To show off not only the cars, but the feeling of the day.
